I did have very, very mild asthma as a child. So mild as to barely notice but I did get horrific chest infections and was often hospitalized.
As I grew up and learned lots about how to make my immune system stronger the infections became fewer put were terrible ...often pneumonia or pleuresy. I am otherwise extremely healthy.
I do not get bad chest infections anymore because I take sufficient Vitamin D.
About 8 years ago I was given a medication, Diclophenac or Voltorol that kicked off an extreme form of asthma that I only get after a bug.
So I got a flu bug and it was a bad one but as I am healthy it was all over in about 6 days... Then the asthma came and it would not go, even though it was heavily treated. It lasted for about 5 weeks and was totally debilitating.
As it was about over I did the session with you and it was amazing.
Without going over the whole session we did focus on the heaviness in my lungs and the tension in my airways that I could feel. What emerged, was fear, fight or flight and then a feeling that if i did not breath I would not feel the pain of grief and loss that was present in my life as an infant.
Stopping my breath was a way of escaping pain... ( In Chinese medicine the seat of grief is in the lungs and you are always treating grief when you treat the lungs).
The session was very rich and full but centered around grief and fear.
It is 3 weeks now since the session. I have not had asthma once but have taken my inhaler a very few times. It is cold and raining a lot here and that sometimes makes me want to open my airways... I have few go and breathing has been normal completely which it was not before.
I will keep you posted as I only get this every 2 years about so it is not definite yet. I feel very optimistic about the changes being deep and real.
I was quite skeptical about doing a session of EFT for a Physical change.
I need not have been. It was really fabulous and learned to much that I will continue to use. My breathing is great and I will let you know what happens there as it does come and go.
I am very grateful.
Love and thanks,
